Santa Ana, California, which provides third-party authentication and grading services to
collectors, retail buyers and sellers of collectibles. Its authentication services focus on
coins, trading cards, sports memorabilia, and autographs. The company reached the combined total
of 50 million certified collectibles in early 2014
The MUSIC Web API is a series of web services that provide all manner of information about a coin simply given its coin number and grade. The web services will return the year and Mint Mark, denomination, population and so on. These web services are based upon the Master Uniform System for Identifying Coins (MUSIC) which is a deeply-nested, fully relational database of coin characteristics. In addition, with the proper subscriptions, these same web services can provide pricing information from a variety of sources including Coin Dealers Newsletter (CDN), PCGS Price Guide and so on.
